Consultation
You will have a one on one consultation with Dr. Savannah to discuss what brings you into the office, your current health, and your concerns.
Examination
After the initial consultation Dr. Savannah will perform comprehensive exams, including x-rays, to determine the problem and how to go about addressing it.
X-rays
"To see is to know, to not see is to guess, and we are not willing to take guesses with your health!"
In many cases we will take several x-rays so we can best determine the best way to care for you. X-rays allow us to see exactly what is going on with your spine. It's an objective diagnostic tool that will allow us to look closely at the position, condition, and any stress that may be on the bones of the spine. The x-ray also allows us to determine how long an issue may have been going on.
Report of Findings
After your consult and exams we will schedule you for the next visit to discuss what the doctor found. This allows the doctor adequate time to study the results of your x-rays and exams, and allow her to come up with the best care plan for you. Your report of findings includes a detailed analysis of what we need to do in order to address the problem that brought you into our office. Dr. Savannah will consider all of the goals you have, your concerns, and what challenges you may face on your healing journey.
Daily Visit
Dr. Savannah will make all the recommendations for how many times a week you should plan to come in to stay on track and get the best results for you. Dr. Savannah will adjust you during your visit and make recommendations as to what else should be done. This may include stretches, exercises, or other advice pertaining to your goals. We will be tracking your progress and updating your care plan as you progress. After your initial care plan is finished Dr. Savannah will recommend a wellness/maintenance care plan. This is similar to wearing a retainer after getting your braces taken off. It will not only help you continue to function at your best and maintain our progress so far, but can also help prevent injuries in the future.
